Here are some of the bacteria that transformed on Luria broth. Students calculated transformation efficiencies and shared their data to create a larger sample size.

Bacterial Transformation Lab

IB Biology students completed there Bacterial Transformation Lab today. It was an exciting class and the data was really good. It is often difficult getting good results in a classroom setting because there are so many variables that can lead to bad results. The students were very proactive and engaged over the three day experience and will be writing up their reports on Blogger. Please see link list labeled A block.
